Wedding Dog Chaperone

A wedding dog chaperone is a professional carer who looks after your dog on your wedding day. I collect your dog, bring them to the ceremony, keep them calm and safe throughout, make sure they appear in your photographs, and return them home — so your dog can be part of the day without you having to worry about them.

Fur the Love of Weddings offers three packages: Bronze at £195 (ceremony, approx. 3 hours), Silver at £275 (ceremony and reception, approx. 4–5 hours) and Gold at £295 as a launch offer, usually £350 (full wedding day, approx. 6+ hours). Bespoke packages are available on request.

I'm based in Roydon, Essex and travel to weddings across Essex, Hertfordshire, London and Suffolk, as well as Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Kent. If your venue is a little further afield, do still get in touch — I'm always happy to travel.

Travel within 20 miles of Roydon in Essex is included in the package price. For venues beyond that, travel is based on distance and agreed with you when you enquire, so you'll always know the full cost up front with no surprises on the day.

Yes. Fur the Love of Weddings is fully insured, first-aid trained and DBS checked. Your dog is supervised at all times, with water, treats and regular toilet breaks included in every package.

Yes — every package includes time for photographs. All packages cover confetti photographs and photos with the newlyweds, and the Silver and Gold packages include dedicated time for photographs with the couple and guests.

With the Bronze and Silver packages your dog is walked, settled and returned to an agreed local address. The Gold package also includes driving your dog on to wherever they're staying that night — your chosen boarding kennel, sitter or a family member — and settling them in. If you'd rather your dog stayed in their own home, overnight sitting can be added to any package as an extra.

Yes. I can stay and look after your dog overnight in your own home, so they can settle in familiar surroundings while you're away. Overnight sitting is £40 per night for one dog, £50 per night for two dogs, and £5 per night for each additional dog.

Yes. Additional dogs can be added to any wedding-day package for £40 per dog (for overnight sitting it's £50 per night for two dogs, then £5 per night for each extra dog). If you have several dogs or particular needs, get in touch and I'll put together a bespoke package for you.
